My name is Irawo Oluwakemi Famugbode formerly known as Oluwakemi Bamidele Adetula, AKA DJ Irawo. 

I was born on the 22nd of February 1978.

I studied violin at the Shepherd Hill Baptist Church, Obanikoro, Lagos.

I attended the Electronic Soundscape workshop organized by the Goethe Institut, Alliance France and Institute France to learn the rudiments of deejaying. 

In 2014, I was made a Talking Drum ambassador by Intro Afrika, organizers of the Yoruba Drum Festival.

In 2012, I contested with a tenor singer, violinist, pianist and a quartet of clarinettists who were all MUSON graduates in the Christmas Magi Music Concert contest organized by Art Colony International and the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON).

I won the competition for using the talking drum to play classical and jazz music.

I have attended creative writing and event planning workshops organized by the British Council and the Goethe Institut, Lagos.

I have performed at several private events, art and international music festivals in live music performances such as the Lagos International Jazz Festival, The Lagos Book and Art Festival, The Yoruba Drum Festival, Eko Akete Festival, etc.

I am still learning so that I can provide quality services to my clients.
