Cultural Innovation is deeply part of Arts and Culture.

Arts and Culture are the core of DJ Ìràwọ̀ Limited's services.

Cultural Innovation is the process of reimagining traditions, values and creative practices so they remain relevant and impactful in contemporary society.

Arts and Culture provide the foundation while innovation transforms them into new expressions and solutions.

As a Cultural Innovator, I reimagine traditions, values and social practices to make them relevant in today’s world.

I bridge heritage and modernity by creating new pathways for identity, creativity and well-being.

Cultural Innovation is not just about preserving culture. It is about transforming it into a living force that shapes society's thoughts, behaviours, traditions, processes and procedures.

On this basis, DJ Ìràwọ̀ is interested in transforming five areas of the Art and Culture in society.

They are Music, Career, Yorùbá, Divorce and Mental Health.

The innovations in these fields are carried out via the following channels: Music Industry, Books, Blogs, Live Art, Courses, Podcasts and Speeches.

Let me explain how I do these:

MUSIC

As a Cultural Innovator in the field of Creative Music, I fuse Yorùbá heritage with modern soundscapes by blending the traditional rhythms of the Yorùbá Dùndún Talking Drums and other Yorùbá musical instruments with contemporary genres of music to form my Electro-Dùndún genre of music.

Also, I ensure that the Yorùbá language is present in all of my music albums in the folk or contemporary style.

This is to ensure that my language and ancestral drumbeats are not lost but amplified to create music that resonates across generations and borders for many years to come.

I achieve cultural innovation in this field via Songwriting, Singing, Drumming, Disc Jockeying, Dancing and Record Production.

As a Music Artist, I create and perform my songs in English, Yorùbá and Pidgin.

As a Disc Jockey, I include other languages in my music performances.

As a Cultural Innovator in the field of Music Business and Music Ecosystems, I build sustainable structures that protect artists legally, financially, mentally, sexually, maritally and culturally by creating clear business models in the areas of management, publishing, distribution and ownership—that prevent the pitfalls many artists faced in the past, such as exploitative contracts, drug abuse and bankruptcy.

I teach cultural innovation in music as Music Industry CoursesMusic Industry Books and at Iwájú with DJ Ìràwọ̀ Podcasts.

CAREER

As a Creative Innovator in the field of Career, I help people distinguish between jobs, careers, hobbies, gifts, talents, interests and philanthropy, so they can live balanced lives.

A cultural innovator in career development empowers individuals to align work with purpose, heritage and mental well-being.

I teach these life lessons via my book titled Passion Equations which will be published before the end of 2026.

YORÙBÁ

As a Cultural Innovator for Yorùbá Language, I help preserve and transform traditions, language, spirituality and communal values, starting by tutoring the language via YouTube courses at Ìràwọ Yorùbá Ni Mí Ìràwọ Yorùbá Ni Mí Live Art Exhibitions and fiction writing in Yorùbá. One of my books is titled Kùkú Àṣà which will be published before the end of 2026.

Cultural Innovation is about showing that Yorùbá culture is not static but dynamic and capable of shaping industries like music, film, fashion, technology, education and global diplomacy.

As a Yorùbá cultural innovator, I bridge the wisdom of Ifá, proverbs and art with the demands of today’s world and propose the abandonment of outdated traditions and proverbs.

DIVORCE

As a Cultural Innovator for Divorce, I help reshape narratives around dating, courting, engagement, marriage, separation, reconciliation, divorce, post-divorce, remarriage and parenting as it relates to musicians, creatives, Yorùbás, Non-Yorùbás, Career Choices, Parenting and Mental Health.

Instead of stigma, it emphasises resilience, growth and cultural approaches to reconciliation, co-parenting, remarriage or domestic partnership and mental and physical wellbeing

As a Cultural Innovator for divorce, I help communities see separation not as failure but as transformation—integrating cultural wisdom, support systems and modern mental health practices to foster dignity and renewal in musicians and non-musicians who are going through a separation and divorce and to guide spinsters and bachelors in making life choices concerning their relationships before, during and after it occurs.

I innovate culture in the field of divorce via my books, courses and podcasts at Divorce BooksDivorce Courses and Iwájú with DJÌràwọ̀ Podcasts.

MENTAL HEALTH

As a Cultural Innovator for Mental Health, cultural innovation means integrating cultural identity, practices and values into wellness strategies.

It is about recognising that mental health is not only medical but also culturally shaped by language, community, spirituality and creativity.

I design frameworks that honour heritage while promoting balance, clarity and holistic well-being. I teach cultural innovation for mental health at Mental Health Courses and Iwájú with DJ Ìràwọ̀ Podcasts.

WHY DO I CHOOSE TO INNOVATE THESE FIVE ART AND CULTURE AREAS OF MUSIC, CAREER, YORÙBÁ, DIVORCE AND MENTAL HEALTH?

It is because they are areas where I have encountered problems and researched solutions as they relate to arts, culture, law, society, structure, management and the industries to which they relate.

My goals are to provide people who have the same problems like I did with solutions to save them time, money and energy before getting solutions to their life’s problems and also improving on the existing culture in these five areas.
